AURORA, Ill. - St. Norbert College senior Dawson Fish's first-round eagle helped him to a top-ten finish to lead the Green Knights at the Aurora University Double Gun Invitational at Aurora Country Club.

The Green Knights finished 14th out of 19 teams at the grueling 36-hole event, which is played in one day, scoring 322-308--630. Aurora University won the team title with a 1-under par 285-290--575. The Spartans' Caleb Negley was the medalist with a 10-under par 66-68--134 to lead a field of 107 golfers.

Fish (pictured) finished tied for 10th place with a 76-72--148. He eagled the par-5, 525-yard 16th hole in the first round and followed it up with five birdies during his second round.

Conner Krach tied for 25th place with a 79-74--153, netting four second-round birdies. Max Renard tied for 75th place at 78-84--162, while Brendan Lange tied for 89th place with an 89-78--167. Cole Bersch tied for 101st place at 89-86--175.

St. Norbert fielded a "B" team, which finished 18th with a 325-332--657. Jon Bertram tied for 45th place at 78-79--157. Owen Weber tied for 62nd place with a 75-85--160. Ryan Gearen had four birdies during his second round.
