DE PERE – St. Norbert College senior Taylor Thiry has been named a first team All-Region 8 selection by D3hoops.com, announced today by the website.  

Thiry, a Casco native and Luxemburg-Casco High School graduate, was named a first-team selection last year and was also a pre-season third team All-American.  

Thiry averaged 16.2 points per game in 26 starts for the Green Knights and shot 50 percent overall from the floor. She was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference's Player of the Year for a second straight season and was a women's basketball student-athlete of the week winner four times throughout the season.  

Thiry finished her career fourth on St. Norbert's all-time scoring list, compiling 1,366 points.
