DE PERE – St. Norbert College senior Jace Midbon has been named the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association's NCAA Division III Pitcher of the Week, announced today by the organization.  

Midbon, a Kaukauna native and Freedom High School graduate, became the first St. Norbert pitcher since 2007 to throw a no-hitter in a 17-0 victory over Maranatha Baptist University last Thursday. He struck out 15 batters, which is both a career-high and the third most strikeouts in a single game in program history.  

The award is the first in his career.
