DE PERE – St. Norbert College junior Jacob Klitzke has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference's Men's Field Athlete of the Week, announced today by the conference office.  

Klitzke, a Shiocton native and graduate, once again set new school records in the weight throw and shot put at the UW-Parkside Lake Michigan Open. In the weight throw, he went for 56 feet 11 inches while going for 55 feet 10 3/4 inches in the shot put. His mark in the shot put is currently the eighth best in Division III this season.  

The award is the eighth in his career.
