KALAMAZOO, Mich. - St. Norbert College junior Owen Pittenger, sophomore Adelle Polzin and freshman Ashley Mako all competed at the NCAA Division III Central Diving Regional hosted by Kalamazoo College this weekend.
Pittenger returned to the event after becoming the first student-athlete in program history to qualify for the event last year, while Mako and Polzin were the first women in program history to qualify.
Pittenger placed 19th in the 3-meter dive with a score of 377.80 on Friday and came in 18th in the 1-meter dive on Saturday with a score of 361.70.
Polzin placed 24th in the 1-meter dive with a score of 348.70 on Friday and came in 30th in the 3-meter dive on Saturday with a score of 291.65.
Mako came in 32nd in both diving competitions, scoring 308.05 in the 1-meter dive and 286.45 in the 3-meter dive.
