DE PERE – St. Norbert College freshman Caz Henely has been named the Midwest Conference's Men's Swimmer of the Week, announced today by the conference office.  

Henely, a McHenry, Ill., native and McHenry Community West High School graduate, won multiple events against Lawrence University and UW-Stevens Point. Against Lawrence, he placed first in the 200 IM and 500-yard freestyle, with his time of 4:52.60 in the freestyle being the second best time in the conference.  

Against the Pointers, Henely again placed first in the 500-yardfreestyle along with top-placements in the 1,000-yard freestyle and 200-yard butterfly. His time of 10:17.60 in the 1,000 freestyle is the second best in the Midwest this season.  

The award is the first in his career.
