DULUTH, Minn. - St. Norbert College wrapped up their first weekend of 2026 and were swept by College of St. Scholastica with a 1-0 loss in a non-conference game at Mars Lakeview Arena.
The Green Knights (10-5), ranked No. 7 in the USCHO Division III poll, were shutout thanks to a Saints goal late in the second period at 18:26 in what proved to be the game's lone goal. The Green Knights had a chance earlier in the second period to take the lead on a power play, but were only able to get one shot off from Sydney Zurawik in the two-minute frame.
St. Norbert had six shots on goal in the final minute and change, all of which were turned away by St. Scholastica's Makenzie Cole.
St. Norbert outshot the Saints 38-30. Tanith Plachetka (pictured) made 29 saves for St. Norbert, with 16 coming in the third period. Cole made 38 saves for the Saints.
Both teams were 0-for-1 on the power play.
