WAUWATOSA - St. Norbert College fashioned a 7-0 win over Wisconsin Lutheran College in its season opener in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference dual at Hart Park.
The Green Knights gained the doubles points by collecting a trio of 6-1 wins.
Jordan Domnick and
Allison Unverzagt topped Maddy Olson and Joelle Smith at No. 1, while
Alyssa Tegen (pictured) and
Irene Multhauf topped Addie Prochaszka and Annaliese Bruns at No. 2.
Anna Vechart and
Anna Krupka trimmed Lexi Yerges and Lucia Gallardo Marto at No. 3.
St. Norbert swept all six singles matches in straight sets.
Domnick clipped Olson 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1, while Unverzagt defeated Smith 6-4, 6-3 at No. 2. Vechart topped Amelia Kelley 6-0, 6-3 at No. 3, followed by a 7-5, 6-2 win for Multhauf over Prochazka at No. 4. Tegen tripped Burns 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5, with
Madeline Diefenthaler claiming a 6-0, 6-1 over Lexi Yerges at No. 6.
St. Norbert hosts Concordia University Wisconsin at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, at Green Bay Tennis Center.
