DE PERE – St. Norbert College fell in its final non-conference doubleheader of the season to nationally ranked UW-Oshkosh, falling by scores of 6-0 and 9-0 in a doubleheader at Miron Construction field.
Oshkosh scored early in the first game, with three of the six runs coming in the third inning. A two RBI home run in the sixth made it 6-0, which was enough to see out the Titans victory.
Zoe Zasada, Addison Race and Morgan Hansel each recorded one hit. Addison Maurer took the loss, pitching three innings and allowing six hits and four runs with one walk.
The Titans scored multiple runs in the first two innings, taking a 5-0 lead following a 2 RBI home run. Four more in the fifth ended the game early at 9-0.
Ava Engwall and Grendel Sprong had a double each to their name in the loss, while Zasada and Hallei Mleziva each had one single. Bailie Thielen took the loss, pitching four innings.
