DE PERE – St. Norbert College competed in two duals in the penultimate weekend of the spring regular season, falling 7-0 to Concordia University Wisconsin on Saturday before turning around with a sweep over Wisconsin Lutheran College 7-0 on Sunday at Green Bay Tennis Center.
Against Concordia Wisconsin, St. Norbert picked up a win at the No. 2 doubles, with Charlie Keller and Nolan Pearson defeating Renan Revite and Hayden Latus 7-6 (7-1).
The Green Knights fared much better against Wisconsin Lutheran, winning all three doubles and all six singles contests.
Brett Daniels and Jackson Harpt won at No. 1 doubles 6-2 over Aidan Newberg and Connor Heezan, while Keller and Pearson won 6-1 at No. 2 against TaDarion Perkins and Cameron Borchert. Joe Pellechia and Owen McDonough completed the sweep at No. 3 with a 6-2 victory against Myles Harris and Logan Hennen.
In singles action, Daniels emerged victorious over Newberg 7-5, 6-1 at No. 1, while Harpt defeated Heezen 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2. Keller won at No. 3 over Borchert 6-4, 7-6 (7-2), while Pearson defeated Perkins 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4.
Coulter won 6-0, 6-2 against Harris at No. 5, while Pellechia (pictured) defeated Hennan 6-2, 6-0 at No. 6.
