DE PERE – St. Norbert College concluded its Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference slate with two dual losses to Milwaukee School of Engineering on the road and Illinois Institute of Technology at Green Bay Tennis Center by scores of 7-0 and 6-1 respectively.
Despite the losses, the Green Knights (5-12, 3-3 NACC) have clinched a spot in the NACC Tournament with their opponent to be determined in the coming days.
Against MSOE, St. Norbert was swept 7-0. The closest singles contest was from Brett Daniels at No. 1, falling to Andres Saavedra 3-6, 5-7.
Against Illinois Tech, the Green Knights picked up the doubles point with two wins. Daniels and Jackson Harpt defeated Alexander Feher and Avneet Singh at No. 1, while Joe Pellechia and Owen McDonough (pictured) were victorious at No. 3 with a 6-2 win over Pol Dueso Guell and Eduardo Lopez.
The Scarlet Hawks swept the singles matches, with the closest one being Daniels contest with Pedro Roca, going to a third set but falling 6-7 (3-7), 6-3, 0-1 (6-10).
