DE PERE - St. Norbert College opened play in the 2025 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Tennis Tournament with a 4-0 win over Wisconsin Lutheran College in a first-round match at Green Bay Tennis Center.

The Green Knights advance to a semifinal match at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Glendale against Milwaukee School of Engineering.

St. Norbert picked up the doubles point with a pair of wins. Anna Vechart (pictured) and Mayghan Bongle defeated Joelle Smith and Amelia Kelley 6-2 at No. 2, while Jordan Domnick and Alyssa Tegen topped Lucia Gallardo Marto and Tai Mitchell 6-0 at No. 3.

Vechart earned a 6-0, 6-2 win over Kelley at No. 4, singles, followed by a 6-2, 6-0 victory for Bongle over Mitchell at No. 5. Irene Multhauf bested Gallardo Marto 6-2, 6-0 at No. 6.

One doubles match and three singles matches were not finished due to a team decision being reached in post-season competition.
