GLENDALE - St. Norbert College advanced to the championship match of the 2025 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Tennis Tournament with a 4-1 win over Milwaukee School of Engineering at Elite North Shore.
The Green Knights (11-12) will take on Edgewood College in the tournament championship at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Sports Core in Kohler. The winner earns the NACC's automatic qualifier to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
St. Norbert got off to a great start when it claimed the doubles point.
Allison Unverzagt and
Grace Peters defeated Karley Way and Gabriella Haensgen 6-4 at No. 1, while
Jordan Domnick (pictured) and
Alyssa Tegen blanked Michaela Haensgen and Breanna Sheehan 6-0 at No. 3.
Domnick gained a 6-1, 6-0 win over Way at No. 1 singles.
Mayghan Bongle trimmed Sheehan 6-4, 6-2 at No. 5 singles, while
Anna Vechart clinched the team win with a 6-3, 6-4 triumph over Michaela Haensgen at No. 4.
One doubles match and two singles matches were not completed once the team decision was reached.
