ATLANTA – St. Norbert College sent a split squad down south to compete at the Georgia Tech Invitational at George C. Griffin Track and the Sewanee Mountain Laurel Invitational at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn.
 
Olivia Ship led St. Norbert at Georgia Tech, posting a time of 4:47.22 in the 1,500-meter run, the sixth-highest time in St. Norbert history and a personal-best time by eight seconds.
 
At Sewanee, the St. Norbert women finished second out of 16 teams with 87 points, while the men finished fifth out of 14 teams with 56 points.
 
The Green Knights got a pair of wins on the men's side, with Alex Myszewski taking the triple jump at 43 feet 4 3/4 inches and Jacob Klitzke winning the shot put at 52-1 1/4.
 
Lauren Borchardt won two events on the women's side, taking the 100-meter hurdles in 16.16 seconds and the 400-meter hurdles in 1:11.22.
