ORLANDO, Fla. - St. Norbert College opened its annual spring break trip to Florida with three dual losses to Ave Maria University and St. Lawrence University, with the Green Knights falling 7-0 in all three duals at the UTSA Campus.
The Green Knights opened the trip against Ave Maria on Saturday. The closest contest for the Green Knights came at the No. 6 singles, with Colleen Callaghan falling 6-3, 6-3 to Maria Hofmeister.
The squad then competed in two duals with St. Lawrence on Sunday, with the Saints taking both duals. Allison Unverzagt and Grace Peters took a No. 1 doubles win, defeating Molly Jespersen and Eleanor McDermed 6-4. In the adjacent dual, Ava Nankervis and Katelyn Pawlak won at No. 3 doubles with a 6-2 victory over Ashlyn Strobel and Mia McNamara.
