DE PERE - St. Norbert College saw a 10-point halftime lead slowly melt away in the second half and eventually lost a 66-60 decision to Lawrence University in a non-conference game at Mulva Family Fitness & Sports Center.

The Green Knights closed the last six minutes of the first half on a 15-0 run to take a 35-25 lead into halftime, but made just six field goals in the second half as the Vikings sealed the win in the game's final three minutes.

Lawrence held a 25-20 lead with 6:40 left in the first half before the Green Knights scored nine points in the last 2:05 before halftime to see a one-point lead balloon to 35-25 at the break.

St. Norbert led 47-40 with 12 minutes remaining before the Vikings went on a 12-0 run over the next 3:44 to take a 52-47 lead with 8:16 left. The Green Knights took their last leads at 56-53 with 3:55 left and 57-56 with 3:00 to go. Lawrence got a basket and and an and-one opportunity, missed the free throw and corralled the rebounded and scored for a four-point possession for a 60-57 lead with 2:21 left. St. Norbert went 3-for-6 at the free-throw line down the stretch as Lawrence eventually made it a two-possession game with 20 seconds left and sewed up the win.

St. Norbert shot 44.7 percent (21-for-47) from the floor and was 6-for-19 (31.6 percent) in the second half. Will Stuckey had 13 points and Cam Lathos 10 points to lead the Green Knights.

Lawrence shot 47.3 percent (26-for-55) from the floor and held a 31-29 rebounding advantage. Nicholas Gouriotis led the Vikings with 19 points, while Casey Schoenecker added 17 points.
