Green Knights Fall to Conference-Leading Eagles

VERONA – St. Norbert College came up short in a 2-1 loss to Edgewood University in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference matchup at Edgewood University Field.

The Green Knights (7-6, 5-2 NACC) conceded a goal in each half, with the first scored at 12:49 and the second at 62:24. Hayden Dunn (pictured) answered late in the match with a goal at 82:00 off an assist from Alex Sada, but St. Norbert was unable to complete the comeback in the closing minutes.

The Green Knights recorded four shots on target, with two of them coming from Davis Vega and one each for Everett Saeger and Dunn. St. Norbert was outshot 12-3 in corners, and committed nine fouls compared to the Eagles' 12.

Jackson Kiszka played all 90 minutes in goal, facing 17 shots on frame and recording 14 saves.
