DE PERE – St. Norbert College earned a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Benedictine University in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference matchup at Schneider Stadium.
The first half went scoreless, but the Green Knights (8-6, 6-2 NACC) found the net twice in the second half. Hayden Dunn scored both goals for St. Norbert with the first one at 55:43 off an assist from Everett Saeger. Joe Anguil (pictured) assisted Dunn's second goal at 67:44 to extend the lead to 2-0. Kamil Bak scored the Eagles' lone goal at 73:21.
St. Norbert put five of its 11 shots on goal, with three coming from Dunn, and one each for Kevin Ramirez and Saeger. Benedictine placed six of 12 attempts on target and held a 3-2 edge in corner kicks.
Jackson Kiszka played all 90 minutes in net for the Green Knights, recording four saves.
