RIVER FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College continued its good run of form in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference, downing Concordia University Chicago with a 2-0 victory at Concordia Stadium.
The Green Knights (7-5) scored both of their goals in the second half in a game where they outshot the Cougars 18-5.
Joe Anguil got the scoring started at 51:55, scoring his second goal of the week and fourth of the season. Kevin Ramirez provided the assist for his second of the week. Following a foul in the penalty area and a red card for the Cougars, Ben Swicionis (pictured) converted from the spot at 65:58 to make it 2-0.
11 of the 18 St. Norbert shots hit their mark on goal, with all four of Hayden Dunn's attempts forcing a save. Alex Sada and Dominic Lagona had two attempts on goal.
Jackson Kiszka made one save in just over 70 minutes played. Adan Martinez-Ponce played the final 19:53 in relief.
