RIVER FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College continued its strong play in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference action with a 6-1 victory over Concordia Chicago at CUC Courts.
The Green Knights improved to 5-1 in the NACC and 5-2 overall with the win.
St. Norbert opened the match by winning two of the three doubles contests to earn the doubles point. Anna Krupka and Katelyn Pawlak earned a 7-5 win over Amelia Engelman and Amirah Shakir at No. 1 doubles, while Ava Nankervis and Meghan Bzdill notched a 6-0 result over Kathleen Castillo and Hannah Upole at No. 2.
In singles play, Allison Unverzagt secured a 6-3, 6-1 win over Shakir at the No. 2 spot, while Anna Vechart followed with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Castillo at No. 3. Irene Multhauf claimed a 6-1, 6-1 result over Upole at No. 4, and Alyssa Tegen (pictured) posted the same scores to top Arriyanna Amison at No. 5. Madeline Diefenthaler closed out with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Schneider at No. 6.
The Green Knights return to conference action on Oct. 11 to face Lakeland University.
