HOWARDS GROVE – St. Norbert College extends its win streak to four with a dominant 7-0 win over Lakeland University in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference matchup at Sports Core Health and Racquet Center.
The Green Knights opened the match by sweeping the doubles competitions to claim the doubles point, holding Lakeland to just one set across all three matches. Jordan Domnick and Allison Unverzagt earned a 6-0 win over Olivia Heling and Mary Johnson at No. 1, while Irene Multhauf and Alyssa Tegen posted a 6-1 victory over Serena Brunner and Madeline Deidrich at No. 2. Anna Krupka and Anna Vechart (pictured) closed out doubles with a 6-0 result at No. 3.
In singles action, Domnick claimed a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Heling at the No. 1 position. Unverzagt followed with a commanding 6-1, 6-0 win against Johnson at No. 2, while Vechart delivered a 6-0, 6-0 performance over Brunner at No. 3. Multhauf also went undefeated in her singles match, topping Deidrich 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4. Tegen added a 6-3, 6-1 triumph over Yuu Narita at No. 5, and Madeline Diefenthaler wrapped up the singles competition with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Reina Imabuchi at No. 6.
The Green Knights wrap up NACC play tomorrow against Edgewood University.
