Green Knights Slowed by Pair of Early Goals

APPLETON – St. Norbert College allowed two early goals to Lawrence University and fell 2-0 in a non-conference matchup at Ron Roberts Field.

The Green Knights (3-11-1) conceded both goals in the first 10 minutes of the game, with the first being scored at 4:51 and the second at 6:02.

Meredith Posanski recorded two shots on goal and Mackenzie Schneider added one, but St. Norbert couldn't find the back of the net. Lawrence tallied nine of 15 shots on frame and led in corners 7-0.

Freshman Leah Hess (pictured) was in goal for the entire 90 minutes for the Green Knights, finishing with seven saves.

Maddie Schellinger and Ava Elders each had a goal for the Vikings.
