St. Norbert Stopped at UW-Stevens Point

STEVENS POINT - St. Norbert College played its final non-conference game of the year with a 21-4 loss to UW-Stevens Point at Zimmermann Field.

The Green Knights took an early 1-0 lead with a run in the top of the first inning, with Matt Perry's sacrifice fly scoring Devin Geary. The Pointers would then score 10 runs in the second inning and three runs in the third inning to take command.

St. Norbert scored three times in the top of the fourth inning. Will DeBruin had an RBI single to score Trevor Reinhardt, Perry scored on a wild pitch and Huck Sprong's run-scoring single to plate DeBruin.

Sprong was 2-for-3 to lead the Green Knights, whole had eight hits.
