DE PERE - St. Norbert College opened the 2024 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Tennis Tournament with a 5-3 win over Wisconsin Lutheran College in a first-round match at Green Bay Tennis Center.

The Green Knights advance to a NACC Tournament semifinal match Friday, May 3 at top-seeding Illinois Institute of Technology.

St. Norbert fashioned two doubles points to take an early lead. Brett Daniels and Jackson Harpt teamed up to defeat Wisconsin Lutheran's Aidan Newberg and Asa White 8-5 at No. 1. Anthony Michels and David Vandenberg routed Bryce Halvorsen and Zadic Torline 8-1 at No. 3.

The Green Knights swept the top three singles flights to secure the win. Daniels topped White 6-4, 6-2 to win at No. 1, while Harpt stopped Newberg 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2. Michels finished off Torline 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3.
