CHICAGO - St. Norbert College had its season wrap up after a 5-0 loss to Illinois Institute of Technology in the semifinals of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament at XS Tennis Center.
The Green Knights put up a battle against the NACC champion Scarlet Hawks, with two solid doubles matches.
Brett Daniels and
Jackson Harpt went to an 8-5 loss to Alann Torres and Davis Housman at No. 1, while
Owen McDonough and
Josh Brown extended No. 3 tandem Nabil Fawaz and Pol Dueso-Guell to an 8-6 score.
In singles action, Daniels faced Torres at No. 1 and lost the first set 6-3 and trailed 5-2 in the second set before the match was stopped after a team decision was reached.
St. Norbert finished its season 10-12 overall.
Daniels and
David Vandenberg were named to the NACC All-Tournament Team.
