DE PERE - St. Norbert College lost 3-0 to Concordia University Chicago in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match at Mulva Family Fitness & Sports Center.
The Green Knights fell to the Cougars 25-21, 28-26, 25-17.
St. Norbert led for most of Set 1, including a 17-14 edge until a service error and a Concordia service ace stemmed the momentum. That started an 11-4 Concordia run to close out the set. The second set featured 16 ties and seven lead changes, including St. Norbert rallying from a 24-21 deficit to take a 25-24 lead. The Green Knights would get that set point and another at 26-25, but the Cougars scored the final three points to take a 2-0 lead. Set 3 was tied 8-8 until an 8-2 Concordia run allowed the visitor to pull away.
The Green Knights hit .163 for the match, with 31 kills and 17 errors in 86 attempts.
Kaden Kornaus and Jacob Van Ooyen had six kills apiece.
Michael Whitney had 23 assists.
Ryan Conway finished with seven digs, while Kornaus had four.
Kade Nelson had two blocks.
Concordia hit .453, with 50 kills against 11 errors in 86 attempts. Jackson Stella had 15 kills to lead the Cougars.
