CLERMONT, Fla. – St. Norbert College had tough sledding offensively in a pair of contests at the Rebel Games, losing to Hope College 2-0 and Roger Williams University 10-1 at Legends Way Park.
The Green Knights were held to five hits in the opener, a well-played game that lasted just 1 hour 7 minutes. St. Norbert had just three baserunners reach second base.
Addison Race took the hard-luck loss, allowing the Flying Dutch two runs in the second inning. She yielded just five hits with two walks and four strikeouts.
Against Roger Williams, the Hawks jumped out to an early lead with four runs in the first inning and two runs in the second inning for a 6-0 edge. The Green Knights scored a run in the fourth inning when
