LAKELAND, Fla. - St. Norbert College wrapped up its Florida trip with a come-from-behind 5-4 win over Belhaven University Tuesday at Beerman Tennis Center.
The Green Knights (5-8) dropped a 6-3 decision to Illinois Wesleyan University earlier in the day. St. Norbert also dropped a 7-0 score to NCAA Division II opponent West Chester University on Monday.
St. Norbert claimed three three-set singles wins to rally to victory against Belhaven.
Anthony Michels finished off the win with a 0-6, 6-2, 7-5 win over Mark Breedlove at No. 3.
David Vandenberg topped Josiah Leggett 6-1, 4-6, 1-0 (10-5) at No. 5, while
Brian Coulter picked up a 6-4, 2-6, 1-0 (10-2) win over Paul Stagger at No. 6.
Jackson Harpt had St. Norbert's other singles win with a 6-4, 6-2, win over Justin Humphrey at No. 2.
Brett Daniels and Harpt fashioned the Green Knights' lone doubles win, an 8-5 victory over Abrahahm Gonzalez and Humphrey at No. 1.
Against Illinois Wesleyan, Daniels and Harpt defeated Ryan McCoy and Ben Vigneri 8-5 at No. 1 doubles. Michels and Vandenberg picked up an 8-4 win over Thad Dillow and Chase Tomecki at No. 3.
Daniels had St. Norbert's singles win at No. 1 when the Titans' Ian Turnbull retired trailing 5-0 in the first set.
