AUBURNDALE, Fla. - St. Norbert College continued its Florida trip with losses of 3-2 and 14-2 to Cornell College at Lake Myrtle Park.

The Green Knights took a 1-0 lead in the opener when Levi Crosswell brought in A.J. Kisting with an RBI single in the top of the third inning. Cornell answered with two runs in its half of the frame. St. Norbert tied the game at 2-2 on Jaden Holgado's triple that scored Devin Geary.

St. Norbert left two runners on in the sixth and one in the seventh, with Cornell pushing across a run with two out in the bottom of the seventh to eke out the win.

Jace Midbon took the hard-luck loss for the Green Knights, allowing one earned run on four hits with four walks and nine strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings pitched. Holgado was 2-for-4 for St. Norbert's lone multi-hit game.

In the nightcap, Cornell jumped out to an early lead scoring four runs in the top of the first inning. The Rams added four more in the second, one each in the third and fourth, and three more in the fifth to build a 13-0 lead. St. Norbert got two runs in the bottom of the sixth on a two-run single by Crosswell. Cornell got one run in the top of the seventh.

Crosswell was 2-for-3 with two RBIs to lead St. Norbert offensively. Matt Perry took the loss for the Green Knights.
