DE PERE - St. Norbert College came up on the short end of tiebreakers and dropped a 5-4 decision to Hamline University in a non-conference match at Green Bay Tennis Center.
The Green Knights jumped out to a 2-1 lead after doubles action.
Jackson Harpt and
Brian Coulter defeated Rumeal Setts and Tyler Rousslang 8-7 at No. 2, while
Anthony Michels and
David Vandenberg topped Elden Lee and Keegan Terrone 8-3 at No. 3.
Michels beat Rousslang 7-5, 6-4 at No. 3 singles. Vandenberg then outlasted Surprise Taylor 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 at No. 5 singles.
Harpt fell in a three-set decision at No. 2 to Isaac Hultberg 6-3, 6-7, 1-0 and
Joe Pellechia dropped a 5-7, 6-4, 1-0 outcome to Elijah Krause at No. 4.
