DE PERE - St. Norbert College continued its busy weekend with a 7-2 win over Saint Mary's University in a non-conference match at Green Bay Tennis Center.
The Green Knights (2-4) took two doubles points to take a 2-1 lead.
Jackson Harpt and
Brian Coulter defeated Caden Rodning and Trevor Smiley by an 8-5 score at No. 2, while
Anthony Michels and
David Vandenberg topped Philip Apel and Matt Besek 8-2 at No. 3.
St. Norbert then took five singles matches to pull away.
Brett Daniels bested Evan Huemoeller 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1, followed by a 6-1, 6-2 win over Harpt over Brendon Raabolle at No. 2. Michels beat Tucker Stene 6-4, 6-1 at No. 3, while
Joe Pellechia clipped Apel 6-2, 6-1 at No. 4. Vandenberg then fashioned a 6-2, 6-2 win over Matt Besek at No. 5.
The Green Knights wrap up their weekend with a pair of home duals on Super Bowl Sunday against Lawrence University and Ripon College.
