DE PERE – St. Norbert College cruised to victory over Concordia University Chicago 69-43 in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference game at Mulva Family Fitness and Sports Center.  

The Green Knights (6-1, 2-0 NACC) won their third straight game with after leading by 15 at halftime and would grow the lead in the second half. 11 Green Knights got on the scoresheet. 

St. Norbert started the game on a 14-4 run and never looked back, as the Cougars struggled to keep up. The Green Knights played excellent defense in the second quarter, allowing just five points and holding Concordia Chicago scoreless in the final six minutes of the half.  

Easy layups from Taylor Thiry, Oakley Witteck (pictured) and Casey Jepson gave the Green Knights their biggest lead of the day in the third quarter, with St. Norbert up by 26 at the end of the period.  

The Green Knights spread the wealth in fourth quarter, with subs Olivia Conway, Kat Miller and Makayla Hayes scoring a majority of the points off the bench in the final period.  

Thiry earned yet another double-double performance, scoring 11 and grabbing 11 boards. Witteck scored 13 off the bench, while Kalina Winslow added nine.  

St. Norbert made over half their shots from the floor, shooting 53.2 percent (25-for-47). The Green Knights outrebounded the Cougars 45-23.
