GENEVA, Ill. - St. Norbert College completed a weekend sweep over Aurora University in a 4-1 win over the Spartans in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association series at Fox Valley Ice Center.  

The Green Knights (8-0, 6-0 NCHA) were lethal on the power play, scoring twice with an extra woman advantage on the ice. Courtnie Hogan (pictured) and Natalie Hogan scored all four goals, with each sister scoring two apiece.  

Natalie Hogan started the scoring for St. Norbert at 16:07 in the first period, scoring on a power play off Lisa LaRoche and Kelsey Ross assists. Courtnie Hogan would also score on a power play, with her first goal coming at 4:59 in the second period. Ava Anick had the assist.  

After Aurora scored a goal in the second period to narrow the St. Norbert lead at 2-1, the Hogans would go back to work in the third period and score two more goals. Ross assisted Natalie Hogan for the second time in the game, putting her goal away at 7:07. Courtnie Hogan then put the nail in the coffin with a shorthanded goal at 14:04.  

The Green Knights outshot Aurora 40-28. Keira Markell made 27 stops for St. Norbert for her fourth win of the season.  

St. Norbert went 2-for-4 on the power play, while Aurora went 0-for-4.
