GENEVA, Ill. - St. Norbert College opened the weekend with a 3-0 shutout win over Aurora University in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Assocation contest at Fox Valley Ice Arena. The win gave the Green Knights their seventh win of the young season to remain undefeated. 

St. Norbert (7-0, 5-0 NCHA) scored twice in the second period and added one more in the third period to shoutout the Spartans.  

The Green Knights opened the scoring with a Grace Wittkopf (pictured) goal at 1:46 in the second period, scoring her first goal of the season. Maddux Federici and Maddie Madden provided the assists. Tristan Wicklund scored the second goal in the period, with Wittkopf earning another point in the game with an assist.  

Maleiyah Streck added an insurance goal for St. Norbert deep into the third period, scoring an unassisted attempt at 14:45. The goal was Streck's first goal of the season and her third point overall.  

St. Norbert outshot the Spartans 40-16. Ashley Ommen made 16 stops for her second straight shutout victory and third overall in four games played.  

Wittkopf was St. Norbert's lone multi-point scorer, recording her first two points of the season. Zoie Campbell made 37 saves for the Spartans.  

The Green Knights went 0-for-2 on the power play while Aurora went 0-for-6.
