St. Norbert Falls in Final Non-Conference Match

DE PERE – St. Norbert College was shutout 5-0 by UW-Eau Claire in a non-conference contest at Schneider Stadium.  

The Green Knights secured a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament berth on Saturday at Aurora and saw a major shift in the lineup for senior day. Lilly Collins, Liz Mitchell, Emilie Harwood, Emma Watters and Abby Thompson represented the seniors in the starting lineup.  

Two Eau Claire goals were scored from outside the box in the first half, as the Bluegolds took a dominant three goal lead into the half.  

The visitors would add two more in the second half to down the Green Knights, 5-0.  

St. Norbert was outshot 14-9, while all the corners in the contest came from the Bluegolds. 

St. Norbert will conclude the regular season at home on Wednesday, taking on Edgewood College in the NACC finale.
