Green Knights Blanked at Concordia Wisconsin

MEQUON - St. Norbert College continued Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play with a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Concordia University Wisconsin at Fitting Field.

The Green Knights fell behind late in the first half when the Falcons' Shay Lange converted at 42:05 for a 1-0 lead.

That marker would hold up until 15 minutes remained, when Isabella Wentorf scored at 75:00. Concordia salted the match away 50 seconds later when Jacey Read scored for a 3-0 edge. The Falcons added a tack-on goal with 1:51 remaining on another Wentorf goal.

Concordia outshot St. Norbert 22-17, including 13-7 on goal. Haley Leadingham had six shots for the Green Knights, with three on goal. Abby Moore added four shots with two coming between the posts.

Lilly Collins made nine saves for the Green Knights, while Brooke Braga turned away seven shots for the Falcons.
