NAPERVILLE, Ill. - St. Norbert College dropped a 3-0 decision to North Central College in a non-conference match at Gregory Arena.

The Green Knights fell to the Cardinals 25-23, 25-18, 25-16.

St. Norbert held a 15-14 lead in Set 1 but after a 16-16 tie the Cardinals went on a 4-1 run to take a 20-17 lead. The Green Knights cut the deficit to 23-22 and 24-23 but couldn't draw back even. North Central jumped out to leads of 6-0 and 9-2 in Set 2 and 5-1 and 13-3 in Set 3 to close out the win.

The Green Knights hit .163 for the match, with 32 kills against 17 errors in 92 attempts. Alyssa Mills had seven kills, while Lauren Borchardt and Alli Clark had six apiece. Heidi Colburn had 22 assists.

Colburn had a match-high 14 digs, while Mills added seven. Mills and Clark had two blocks apiece.

North Central hit .247, with 37 kills against 13 errors in 97 attempts. Lauren Benson and Abbi Barickman had 10 kills apiece.
