DE PERE - St. Norbert College won its third consecutive match by a 7-0 decision when it topped Lakeland University in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference dual match at Green Bay Tennis Center.
The Green Knights (7-2, 7-1 NACC) are scheduled to close out conference play at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at Milwaukee School of Engineering. The winner will be the NACC runner-up and receive the No. 2 seeding for this spring's NACC Tournament.
Grace Peters and
Allison Unverzagt (pictured) fashioned a 6-1 in over Olivia Heling and Alexis Labonte at No. 1 doubles.
Grace McCune and
Paige Diercks picked up a 6-1 win over Mary Johnson and Emily Pautz at No. 2.
Alyssa Tegen and
Jordan Domnick won their match at No. 3 via walkover.
Domnick gained a 6-2, 6-3 win over Heling at No. 1 singles, while Unverzagt nearly blanked Labonte 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2. Peters defeated Paultz 6-4, 6-2 at No. 3. Diercks topped Johnson 6-0, 6-2 at No. 4.
Irene Multhauf and McCune won via walkover at Nos. 5 and 6 singles, respectively.
