GENEVA, N.Y. - St. Norbert College wrapped up its five-match road trip out east with the second day of action at the Hobart College Tournament, falling 3-0 to Hobart and Kean University at Bristol Gymnasium.
The Green Knights (3-2) lost to Hobart 25-18, 25-15, 25-20 before being edged by Kean 25-22, 25-20, 25-20.
Kaden Kornaus had eight kills against Hobart to lead the Green Knights, which had 34 kills and 31 errors in 104 attempts as Hobart totaled 16 blocks.
Owen Knezevich had seven kills and
Mason Werner six kills.
Michael Whitney finished with 31 assists. Kornaus had 13 digs, while
Kade Nelson and Werner had two blocks apiece.
Against Kean, Knezevich had a team-high nine kills while
Barry Applewhite and Kornaus had five each. Whitney finished with 24 assists.
Ryan Conway totaled 13 digs. Applewhite and Nelson each had two blocks.
