PLYMOUTH - St. Norbert College faced a pair of nationally ranked Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponents, falling 3-1 to No. 8 UW-Oshkosh and 3-0 to No. 15 UW-Stevens Point in a double dual hosted by Lakeland University.
The Green Knights lost to Oshkosh 25-17, 21-25, 25-14, 25-22 and then dropped their match to Stevens Point 25-20, 25-19, 25-21.
Against Oshkosh, the Green Knights hit .168 with 45 kills and 22 errors in 137 attempts.
Rylie Gregg had a team-high 15 kills, while
Brooke Clement added 10.
Heidi Colburn and
Ellie Hartson had 18 assists apiece. Gregg, Hartson and
Erin Eggers all had two service aces each. Eggers led the back row with 22 digs, while Gregg,
Alyssa Mills and
Alli Clark all had two blocks apiece.
Against Stevens Point, St. Norbert hit. 058 with 31 kills and 25 errors in 103 attempts. Clement had nine kills and Gregg seven. Colburn totaled 14 assists and Hartson 13. Clement finished with two service aces. Eggers had nine digs while Hartson added eight.
