MEQUON - St. Norbert College erased an early deficit and went on to post a 2-1 win over Concordia University Wisconsin in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match at Fitting Field.
The Green Knights (4-4-2, 3-1-1 NACC) fell behind when Concordia's Vladimir Campos scored at the 13:51 mark. St. Norbert got the equalizer when
Tyler Bonin registered his fourth goal of the season at 22:09, with
Joe Meade assisting. The score would remain 1-1 heading into halftime.
St. Norbert pulled ahead when
Matthew Wright scored at 62:46, his second goal in as many games.
Ben Swicionis assisted on the eventual game-winning goal. The Green Knights had four shots on goal the rest of the way but couldn't get an insurance goal, but the St. Norbert back did not allow a Concordia shot after Wright's goal.
The Green Knights outshot Concordia 13-12, with Bonin getting five shots and Meade four. Concordia held a 7-3 edge in corner kicks.
Ryan Fleming made six saves for St. Norbert, while Alexis Diaz made nine stops for the Falcons.
