Green Knights Finish Wartburg Tournament

WAVERLY, Iowa – St. Norbert College dropped two matches against strong competition on the second day of the Wartburg College Invitational at Levick Arena.
 
The Green Knights opened with a 26-24, 25-6, 25-16 loss to UW-River Falls and followed with a 25-17, 25-22, 29-27 setback to Wartburg.
 
St. Norbert hit .028 against River Falls, with 28 kills and 25 errors in 109 attempts. Rylie Gregg had eight kills, while Alli Clark added seven kills. Ellie Hartson had 14 assists.
 
Erin Eggers had 10 digs, while Brooke Clement had two blocks.
 
Against Wartburg, the Green Knights hit .198 with 42 kills against 18 errors in 121 attempts. Clement had 12 kills and Alyssa Mills added eight kills. Hartson finished with 18 assists and Heidi Colburn added 14 helpers. Clement had three service aces.
 
Eggers totaled 16 digs to pace the back row.
