Late Night Leads to St. Norbert Loss to Coe

WAVERLY, Iowa – In a late night of volleyball, St. Norbert College opened the Wartburg College Tournament with a 3-1 loss to Coe College.
 
The Kohawks topped the Green Knights 25-15, 15-25, 25-18, 25-14 in a battle of former Midwest Conference foes.
 
St. Norbert hit .193 for the match, netting 40 kills against 11 errors in 150 attempts. Brooke Clement led the Green Knights with 11 kills, while Alyssa Mills added nine and Rylie Gregg eight. Heidi Colburn had 18 assists and Ellie Hartson 13. Erin Eggers had two service aces.
 
Clement had a team-high 18 digs, while Eggers finished with 16. Molly Rader totaled four blocks.
 
Coe hit .237, with 59 kills and 27 errors in 160 attempts. Kelsey Hansel had a team-high 15 kills.
