Green Knights Battle to Draw at Benedictine

LISLE, Ill. - St. Norbert College got a late goal to force a 1-1 tie with Benedictine University in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match at Lisle-Benedictine Sports Complex.

Joe Meade scored at the 76:12 mark off a Kevin Ramirez assist to level the match at 1-1. It was Meade's sixth goal of the season. Neither team put a shot on goal the rest of the game.

Benedictine got its goal on an unassisted marker by Kamil Bak at 38:47.

St. Norbert outshot Benedictine 13-7, while the Eagles had a 4-3 edge in corner kicks. Dominic Lagona had four shots to lead the Green Knights.

Nate Jocz made one save for St. Norbert, while Sergio Valencia had three stops for the Eagles.
