MEQUON - St. Norbert College was swept in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference doubleheader by Concordia University Wisconsin by scores of 11-1 and 13-3 at Kapco Park.
After Concordia scored a run in the bottom of the opening game's first inning, St. Norbert tied it at 1-1 when
Carson Krumrei's single brought home
Caden Uhlenbrauck. The Falcons would scored single runs in the second and third innings to take a 3-1 lead. Concordia scored three runs in the fifth and five in the sixth to break the game open.
Eric Kramer was 3-for-3 for the Green Knights, who had four hits.
Noah Lindsley took the loss.
In the nightcap, Concordia scored five runs in the bottom of the first but the Green Knights responded with three in the top of the second inning.
A.J. Kisting had an RBI single, followed by a sacrifice fly off the bat of
Devin Geary.
Sebastien Dubois then had an RBI single to make it 5-3. But the Falcons countered with three in the second to take an 8-3 lead. The score stayed that way until Concordia scored once in the sixth and four in the seventh to end the game.
St. Norbert had three hits in Game 2.
Cole Bzdawka took the loss.
