KOKOMO, Ind. - St. Norbert College closed out a three-game non-conference series at Anderson University with a 4-3 loss at Championship Park.
The Green Knights (2-4) and Ravens (3-3) were tied 3-3 in the seventh when Anderson scored a run on an error with two outs. St. Norbert would get runners into scoring position in the eighth and ninth innings but would strand to runners in each frame.
St. Norbert took a 1-0 lead in the second inning when
Trevor Reinhardt opened the frame with a walk and moved to second on a wild pitch.
Tommy Sheehan then drive him in with a single to left field. Anderson tied the game in the third inning when it scored one run on two hits.
The Green Knights took a 3-1 lead with a two-run sixth.
Sebastien Dubois drove in
Carson Krumrei with a double and Sheehan followed with a sacrifice fly to plate
Caden Uhlenbrauck. The Ravens tied it in the bottom half of the inning on a two-run home run.
Dubois finished 2-for-4, while Sheehan drove in two runs.
Cole Bzdawka took the loss, working into the seventh inning and allowing nine hits with one walk and one strikeout.
