DE PERE - St. Norbert College lost a 1-0 decision to Augsburg University for the second consecutive year, this time on home ice in a non-conference game at Resch Olympic Pavilion.
The Green Knights (10-3) also dropped a 1-0 outcome to the Auggies (7-4) last season in Minneapolis.
St. Norbert would get two power-play chances in the first period and Augsburg had one but neither team got on the scoreboard. Each team again had a power-play chance in the second period but came up empty. Augsburg broke through when Claire Jenkins Coffman scored at the 15:48 mark of the third period.
The Green Knights would have 2:21 of extra-attacker time at the end of the game but couldn't force overtime.
Augsburg outshot St. Norbert 34-25.
Brynn Waisman made 33 saves for the Green Knights, while Chloe Stockinger stopped all 25 shots she faced for the Auggies.
Both teams were 0-for-3 on the power play.
