WAUKESHA - St. Norbert College wrapped up its pre-Christmas schedule with an 86-49 non-conference setback to Carroll University at Van Male Fieldhouse.
The Green Knights trailed 13-4 in the early going before closing the first quarter on a 4-0 run after baskets by
Avery Bierowski and
Taylor Thiry to get to within 13-8 at the end of the period.
Carroll led 17-12 just under two minutes into the second quarter before going on a 10-0 run over the next 1:51 to take a 27-12 lead. The Green Knights would answer with a 13-5 run to get to within 32-25.
Kat Miller's 3-pointer just before halftime brought St. Norbert to within 38-31 at the break.

Marnie Kahl layup with 6:26 left in the third quarter put the Green Knights in arrears 46-37, but the Pioneers responded with an 18-0 run to break the game open.
St. Norbert shot 30.2 percent (19-for-63) from the floor. Thiry led the Green Knights with 17 points.
Carroll shot 54.4 percent (37-for-68) from the floor. Olivia Rangel led the Pioneers with 21 points.
