DE PERE - St. Norbert College bllitzed Lawrence University 9-0 in a non-conference game at Resch Olympic Pavilion.
The Green Knights (9-2) scored just 47 seconds into the game when
Morgan Olson scored. St. Norbert doubled its lead late in the first half when
Kelsey Ross scored a 4-on-4 goal at 18:39 for a 2-0 lead heading into first intermission.
St. Norbert pulled away with four second-period goals.
Jo Mahlum scored a power-play marker at 5:37, followed by
Courtnie Hogan's team-high eighth goal of the year at 9:24.
Claire Healy then scored a power-play goal at 14:25 and then added an even-strength tally at 15:15.
Lexi Bonfe scored the first two goals of the third period when she potted the puck at 11:36 and 14:35.
Maddie Madden closed out the scoring with her first collegiate goal at 19:26.
Bonfe finished with two goals and two assists for four points, while Olson and Ross each had one goal and three assists for four points. Healy had two goals for a two-point game, while
Natalie Hogan had two assists for two points.
St. Norbert outshot Lawrence 45-17.
