FOND DU LAC - St. Norbert College remained unbeaten in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association with a 4-1 win over Marian University at Blue Line Family Ice Center.
The Green Knights, now 8-2 overall and 6-0 in the NCHA, got an unassisted goal from
Grace Wittkopf at the 6:32 mark of the first period for a 1-0 lead that would carry into first intermission.
St. Norbert doubled its lead when
Natalie Hogan scored at 16:11 of the second period, but the Sabres would get a goal back with a shorthanded marker by Alyssa Heim with 8 seconds left in the stanza.
The Green Knights would salt the game away with a pair of goals in the third period.
Abbie Tollefson scored at 6:38 and
Kelsey Ross at 14:46
St. Norbert outshot Marian 46-17.
Brynn Waisman made 16 saves for the Green Knights, with Kayla Kolpitcke making 42 stops for the Sabres.
Both teams were 0-for-3 on the power play.
